People Coaching People was a dream, which became a vision, and is now a reality.

Company Directors Anne Young and Hannah Young believe that People Coaching People will be the catalyst to inform and educate all people of the value of professional life and business coaching.

How it all happened:
Anne says:
I found out about coaching as a career in December 2005, after searching for more than five years for that new direction in my life. I wanted to be able to give “something back”. In March 2006 I attended the Coach U Fast Track Core Essentials course in Sydney and knew I had found my purpose.

I began networking with other coaches and realised there is a common purpose and work ethic, and that coaches connect well and without effort. This natural ease of connection was prevalent at the Kiwi Coaching Retreat, which I attended in September 2006 at Taupo.

It was at the Kiwi Coaching Retreat that my dream began to formulate. I visualised a website which would connect all coaches and provide a platform which would enable them to work together promoting the benefits and services which they had to offer.

By November 2006 my dream had become a vision and it was at that time that I invited my daughter Hannah to work with me in the development of a quality website. Hannah was extremely supportive and immediately agreed to come on board. People Coaching People Co Limited was incorporated under the Companies Act 1993 on 20 November 2006.

In December 2006 we contracted to Canz Design, who we believe are the most lateral thinkers of all the web developers with whom we liaised. We have entrusted CANZ to develop and design the most interactive and professional coaching portal yet seen in New Zealand. 

 

 

 

 

People Coaching People was launched on 18 February 2007.  People Coaching People is no longer a dream – it’s a reality. It’s here to stay and that’s our promise. Through connection we will grow!

About Us:
Anne is a Personal Life Coach, member of the International Coach Federation Australasia, wife and mother to two young adults. Anne has been self-employed most of her life, working in the fields of advertising, promotion, marketing and administration.

Anne has held positions as the New Zealand delegate on an international sports body, President of an associated national sports body, and Editor of a sports magazine. She is a gifted communicator who is committed to sharing the benefits of coaching as well as recognising and promoting the reciprocal benefits of connection.

Hannah brings to People Coaching People wonder, curiosity and energy. Hannah has been active in all aspects of the development of People Coaching People and will be involved in the day-to-day administration of the Company. Hannah’s particular interest is in the People Coaching People Forum.

Anne and Hannah are committed to People Coaching People. They are committed to the vision of growth through connection. The launch of the People Coaching People website is the realization of a dream but it is not the finale. It is quite simply the beginning.
